For this assignment, I created a panoramic, sequential image that explores color and various design principles of space and movement.
I first chose the three images I would work with for this composition. One was an old master painting, one a biological object and one a personal photograph.
Then I made my 3 color keys, each using colors in the painting, photo and object.
I then executed my design on a 6-panel illustration board ground. Then, using my color keys, I painted my final composition showing transparencies, hard edges, vibrating edges, deep space, atmosphere, overlap, gradation, etc.

Assignment 6 presents a really creative approach to showing transformation and metamorphosis through environmental color. The idea of using color to represent a sequence of events adds depth and emotional storytelling, making the concept more engaging and visually impactful.
