The second assignment was basically exploring the interaction of color and value to create complex space and form. I first took a Piranesi image and created a symmetrical design which would facilitate both atmospheric and abstract sides.
The above image shows my tertiary color scenario keys. I first made a 6 shape design and executed it 4 times on illustration board. I then painted all of my keys with the triadic color scheme of tertiary colors.
This image shows my final design executed on an illustration board. It consists of colors in my color keys. The left side is the abstract side and the right side is the atmospheric side.
